Congratulations, Seth Miner and Dacia Sedillo!

By now you may have heard that Seth Miner will be leaving the Division, but not NMSU, as he has accepted a vice-chancellor position with NMSU-Global.  We will also be parting with Dacia Sedillo, who will be retiring on February 29. We will miss them both, but we celebrate what these new opportunities mean for them.

Seth just celebrated his fifth year at NMSU, and he is looking forward to the challenges of online enrollment. He officially begins his transition into his new role on January 16. Dacia has worked for NMSU in many capacities and became our Registrar in 2015. She is only the 14th Registrar in NMSU’s history.

It is bittersweet to see colleagues move on, but I am certain you share my happiness for Seth and Dacia. These changes will affect our work lives, but we remain committed to service that surpasses our stakeholders' expectations. You will hear more from me soon regarding these departures and the Division of Student Success.
