On Tuesday, about 75 people from across the NMSU System spent the day talking about assessment at DSS Assess 2023. One highlight was the Poster Session, which featured 12 posters about this year’s assessment efforts. Thank you to all who attended and showed your interest in continuous improvement.
I offer the following shout outs:
- To the Co-Curricular Assessment Committee, for all their efforts in improving services to our students.
- To those who presented posters: Thank you for sharing you work from the year. A special shout out to Cameren Valenzuela and Mia Villegas, student employees in Campus Tutoring. Hearing from students on our work is especially meaningful.
- Session presenters Dr. Sarah Edwards, Dr. Ann Goodman, Nicki Halopka, and Melody Munson-McGee. Your energy and enthusiasm got high ratings from participants!
- To DSS Assess organizers Ysela Chavirra and Sierra Dalton Torres, who worked tirelessly to organize the event.
And finally, congratulations for winners of the Top Poster awards:
- University Financial Aid and Scholarship Services, for “A Review of Phone and Email Interactions”
- Student Conduct Office, for “Student Conduct and Community Standards”
