Please join me in welcoming Ms. Renita Hicks to the Division of Student Success as our new Registrar.

Following a national search that drew over 30 applicants, Ms. Hicks joins the Division from NMSU’s Office of Institutional Analysis, where she has served as a Senior Institutional Researcher for three years. In addition to a strong working knowledge of Banner and NMSU data systems, she has seven years of experience as a Registrar and brings a deep understanding of data management, higher education processes, and how curricular support and management can improve student outcomes.

“It is exciting to be a part of an educational culture that is passionate about student success and opportunity”, Ms. Hicks said. “I look forward to this transition to continue the NMSU core values of student-centered leadership, diversity and inclusion, access, and excellence.” She will begin this new position on September 1.
