Students meet with employers at the 11th Annual Career Connections Event.

  • ALTA Presentation: On Friday, February 12th, Dr. Bernadette Montoya gave a speech to the Aggie Leadership Training Academy Program (ALTA). The speech was in regards to Effective Communication and Team Leadership. The ALTA program is composed of University mid-level management and above.
  • Career Services: On, February 2nd and 3rd, NMSU Career Services in collaboration with the College of Engineering cohosted the 11th Annual Career Connections. There were over 500 students in attendance each day and 86 employers.
  • Professional Development: Michael Jasek, Dean of Students, began his SAEM series of presentations on Student Development on January 29, 2016. The series focuses on several student development theories. The theories are presented with given examples related to the work in every department of SAEM.
  • Black History Month: Director of Black Programs, Festus Addo-Yobo, has been active on campus with over 11 campus events celebrating Black History Month.
